The Bible is the foundation for everything we believe and how we live. Here's a plain-language look at where we stand.
We believe the Bible is completely adequate on its own to guide our beliefs and our way of living — not tradition, not opinion, not culture.
Here are the sixteen truths we hold, in everyday language, with the Scriptures they rest on.
The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God. It is the true Word of God and the final authority for faith and life.
There is one true God, who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is now exalted at the right hand of God.
Humanity was created good, but through sin, all people are separated from God and in need of salvation.
Salvation is available through Jesus Christ alone. It is received through repentance and faith in Him. By grace, we are forgiven, made new, and receive eternal life. Evidence of salvation is a changed life and the inner witness of the Holy Spirit.
Water Baptism — believers are baptized in water as a public declaration of faith in Christ. Holy Communion — the Lord's Supper is a reminder of Christ's sacrifice and a declaration of His return.
All believers are encouraged to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which empowers them for life, service, and witness. This experience follows salvation and brings spiritual strength and gifts.
The initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
Sanctification is the process of being set apart for God and growing in holiness. It is a daily walk of surrender to the Holy Spirit.
The Church is the body of Christ. Its mission is to worship God, reach the lost, and help believers grow into the image of Christ.
God calls and equips leaders to help the Church fulfill its mission of evangelism, worship, and discipleship.
Healing is part of the gospel. God still heals today and provides healing through Christ's sacrifice.
Jesus will return for His Church. Believers who have died in Christ will be raised, and those alive will be caught up to meet Him.
Jesus will return to reign on earth for 1,000 years, bringing peace and fulfilling God's promises to Israel and the world.
All people will stand before God. Those who have rejected Christ will face eternal judgment, while believers will receive eternal life.
God will create a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness and peace will dwell forever.
If you have questions about faith, the Bible, or what we believe, we'd love to talk — no pressure, no judgment.
